Something I don’t say often enough:
I don’t just design websites.
I get into businesses. I get curious. I ask questions. I learn the language of your customers.
Because a website isn’t about colours and buttons — it’s about communication.
It should feel like a conversation between you and your customers, even when you’re asleep.
Before I touch a theme or code a single thing, I want to understand:
-
What made you start this business in the first place?
-
What lights you up about what you do?
-
Who’s on the other side of that screen? What do they need to feel to click “add to cart”?
One of my favourite parts of a project is those early chats — when a client starts talking about their customers like old friends.
Because when you know them, I can design for them.
And that’s when the magic happens.
A Real Example: Dresses With a Difference
Take She’s Fabulous, for example — a beautiful boutique selling prom and bridesmaid dresses.
We didn’t just throw products on a page and call it a day.
We looked at who was shopping, what questions they had, and what kind of decisions they were making.
A prom shopper wants to feel amazing and find the one — fast.
A bride choosing dresses for her bridesmaids? She wants options, reassurance, flexibility, and trust.
So we created product templates that gave each shopper exactly what they needed.
Same website. Different tone. Different journey. Better results.
This Is the Work I Love
It’s not just about building a site that works.
It’s about building a site that feels like you — and makes sense to the people you're trying to reach.
If you're running a business you care about deeply, you deserve a website that shows that off. One that helps your customers understand you, trust you, and buy from you with confidence.
That starts with a real conversation. I'm all ears.
